# LandMap Magic

> LandMap Magic is a geospatial data platform and API for agricultural land mapping. We provide developer-friendly REST APIs for PLSS boundaries, CLU field boundaries, USDA Crop Data Layer, SSURGO soil data, landowner tax parcels, state and county boundaries, and more.

## What We Do

LandMap Magic provides geospatial data layers through a single API platform for developers building agricultural technology, land valuation, precision agriculture, and rural mapping applications.

### Core Data Layers (API Products)

- **PLSS Boundaries** — Public Land Survey System section, township, and range polygons for 30 U.S. states. Section-Township-Range lookups and reverse geocoding.
- **CLU Field Boundaries** — 2008 FSA Common Land Unit field boundary polygons. Individual agricultural field boundaries for millions of parcels.
- **Crop Data Layer (CDL)** — USDA NASS annual crop type classifications from 2008 to present. 30-meter resolution crop maps with 100+ crop categories.
- **Crop History** — Multi-year crop planting history for any field, derived from CDL. Rotation pattern identification.
- **SSURGO Soil Data** — USDA NRCS soil survey polygons with soil properties and productivity indices (CSR2, CPI, PI, NCCPI).
- **Tax Parcels** — Nationwide landowner tax parcel boundaries with owner names, assessed values, and acreage.
- **State Boundaries** — All 50 U.S. states + DC with names, abbreviations, and FIPS codes. Free tier.
- **County Boundaries** — 3,000+ U.S. counties with FIPS codes and state associations. Free tier.
- **MCD Township Names** — Minor Civil Division township names and boundaries for rural reference.
